With Christmas upon us, it’s time for something light and (hopefully) amusing. How about a collection of limericks about golfing mishaps and achievements? 

Most Saturdays I play golf with a group of friends at Wembley Golf Course. We call ourselves the Guinness and Chips Golf Club (GCGC), for obvious reasons. If anything particularly noteworthy happens on the day, especially something embarrassing, one of us (usually me) writes a limerick about it while we are drinking our beers and reads it out to the assembled group. These limericks are collected on a website, and since we’ve been doing this since 2009, there are now hundreds of them to pick through and enjoy.
