155 – Another Symposium on “Understanding Practice Change by Rural Landholders”
Interest in the national symposium on rural practice change that we held in Melbourne last November was very high, so a somewhat similar event will be run in Perth on 8 July 2009, at the University of Western Australia Club.
The Melbourne event attracted around 400 delegates, including people from the public sector, regional natural resource management bodies, private consultants, media, agricultural input suppliers, universities, CSIRO and students.
The symposium in WA will include several speakers from the original event, supplemented by a range of additional experts. It is presented by the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society, The Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy, and the Institute of Agriculture at UWA.
